Nana-Efua Lawson

Leadership & Team Coach

Nana is an accomplished Chartered Psychologist, specialising in leadership coaching, design and facilitation of leadership development programmes, team coaching, senior team effectiveness, and talent development.  She is passionate about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.  She has particular interest in Women in Leadership, Minorites in Leadership and Evolutionary Leadership.

Nana has been an internal and external consultant working globally.  She works with a diverse range of industries and across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors with clients such as Google, PayPal, NHS, Citi, Unilever, Aviva, Vodafone, Nestlé, Kinross Gold, Diageo, and BP.  Immediately prior to founding Castlegate International in 2011 she worked with Standard Chartered Bank for several years, defining and executing their learning and talent agenda across the Middle East.  Clients consistently tell her that she brings refreshing clarity and a powerful combination of perceptiveness, insightful challenge, results-focus, supportiveness, energy and fun to her work.

Nana is on the Board of Trustees for the Abram Wilson Foundation For Creative Arts and previously an elected board member of the Association for Business Psychology.  Nana is Ghanaian by descent but made her home on the somewhat cooler shores of Britain as a teenager.

Nana is an Awaremind associate in the UK, her working languages are English, four Ghanaian languages, French, Spanish and a basic understanding of Arabic.
